Azoospermia-MicroTESE
Men with azoospermia (complete absence of sperm in the semen) have a thorough hormonal and genetic profile check with both blood tests and specialized sperm tests, and if no reversible factor is found, a microscope-assisted testicular biopsy (MicroTESE) is performed. This method ensures the selective collection of testicular tissue without endangering the testicle by reducing its size and ensuring longer seminiferous tubules ensuring the maximum chance of finding spermatozoa. The patient is discharged after 2 hours after surgery.
