Dimitrios A. Kotsiris is a Military Doctor - Surgeon Urologist Andrologist. He was born in Patras in 1986 and after the Panhellenic exams he was admitted to the Military School of Officer Corps (SSAS) in 2004. He graduated from the School of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) with a grade of "LIAN KALOS" in July 2010 and in October of the same year after being sworn in he was named Flag Physician of the Navy.

In June 2018, he received the specialty title and at the same time received the European certification as a urologist, after written and oral exams (Fellow of European Board of Urology, FEBU), now becoming a member of the College of the European Society of Urology. He is also a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the University of Patras.

From November 2022, he holds the position of Director of Urology-Andrology at the Urology Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Crete, while at the same time maintaining a private practice. From September 2019 and for one year he specialized in Leipzig, Germany in the subject of minimally invasive Urology and in Thessaloniki in the subject of Andrology (conducting shock waves and PRP, Peyronie's disease) and Infertility (conducting minimally invasive methods such as microTESE and varicocele with a microscope -microvaricocelectomy). Also, from February 2022 and for 6 months he specialized in reconstructive Urology (penile prostheses, clamps) in Belgrade.
